What does literacy support look like at Ernest Hemingway STEAM school?

Mission: Our mission is to teach all students how to read and comprehend written text so that they may become independent readers and lifelong learners with a solid grasp of the written world that surrounds them.

What we do: As literacy support specialists, we collaborate closely with classroom teachers to provide instructional support. We collectively analyze student data, implement best practices and provide supplemental as well as extended instruction. 

We uphold the highest expectations to ensure that all students reach their potential.
